Incense Market was founded in 2019 by Emily Carter, a Santa Barbara-raised aromatherapist who spent a decade studying fragrance science before deciding that the American wellness market deserved better options in natural incense — products with real ingredient transparency, real provenance, and real intention behind them.
Starting with a small batch of hand-rolled sandalwood sticks and a website built on passion, Emily began shipping from Beaumont, California — a community in the heart of the Inland Empire she had called home for years. The response from customers across the United States was immediate.
